Heartburn With Lightheadedness

A clear example of globalization supported

I present an example of a new type of companies are starting to take off and scare the big conglomerates. Micromultinationals are called, companies with very few workers, twenty or thirty to put a number, with strong technological capabilities and communication with their customers. This last part rests on a cornerstone which is none other than a contact center in combination with a powerful web.

As I said, the example is Sundia, a company engaged in the manufacture of fruit juices and operates twenty-five employees, five time zones and through employees located in various regions of the world.

To get an idea:

  • The headquarters is in San Francisco, USA. In fact, the owner and founder is managed from home.
  • acquires its raw materials (Watermelon and other fruits) in the United States, Mexico and Central America.
  • sells its juice in the United States, Canada and Europe.
  • has a Call Center in the Philippines with multilingual operators serving orders and other requirements of customers and suppliers.
  • As support for it, features a high quality website features on-line store.
  • the squeezed fruit purchased in the U.S. state of Washington.
  • administrative and accounting system is brought from India.
Realize that we are talking about a company that makes juices. C'mon, it's not a product a high added value. These companies do not relocate, themselves are relocated. Not looking to save on labor costs in any way, but combine good salary (depending on the relative levels of each country) with the recruitment of the best for the job.

Finally, a call to move forward in the coming years, large companies will see their results to shake these small agile, very well connected and very versatile. The future began five years ago and there are many who still have not heard, so continue to compete without regard to cost or quality agility.
